“The ministry is humming along very well!” These are the words I sent to Verle, Trevor, Dean, and Kory just prior to boarding my flight home from Africa this May! I was filled with gratitude for the fruitful trip, and the amazing team of leaders that God has raised up to serve in this ministry.

I trust this letter finds you well! It is nice to feel the warmth of the sun these days despite the cold weather hanging on! I am not sure about you, but for me, this winter has felt especially long!

It feels like this should be a winter update, but the calendar tells me that it is still fall, and as of today, November 27 we still have no snow…so fall it is! (Spoke too soon! Snowfall Nov. 28!)

It is hard to believe that summer has come to an end and that we are into October already! Verle and I were talking the other day, and she has been reminding me that we are far overdue for a newsletter… and she is right!

Grace and peace to you! This line struck me this morning from God’s Word… How many times Paul addressed the recipients of his letters with this introduction. Two incredibly important actions for us as believers to receive daily!

I trust that you are all well, and enjoying the more favourable weather! Last week Verle posted a weather network picture showing Saskatoon weather at -51 C with the wind chill…YIKES! I shared this with our African teams, and they were not sure how we survive over here!

I have arrived safely home from the recent trip to Africa! What an amazing trip and opportunity it was! Thank you all for your prayers and support! As you know, it was a very busy itinerary which took Luke and I to five nations over the span of 31 days!

I trust you are all well, and enjoying the nice fall weather we have been having. With harvest wrapped up on the Canadian prairies, it is encouraging to know and witness a magnificent spiritual harvest continuing in Africa! This year has been a year of tremendous growth for Beautiful Feet Ministry! God has richly blessed the ministry with the harvest of souls that is taking place in Africa.

Well, it’s the hottest day the summer today! I decided to take the opportunity to find a nice, air-conditioned spot to bring you up to date on the happenings with Beautiful Feet Ministry, and some highlights of the activities taking place in East Africa!

Most of you know that I was recently in Africa from March 17 to April 9. I left home with a foot of snow on the ground here, enjoyed the warm weather in Africa, and have returned to the arrival of spring!

I want to reach out to you and say a huge thank you for all your faithful prayers and support of Beautiful Feet Ministry! God is using to you all to reap an abundant harvest in Africa! In 2023 – over 880,000 people heard the Good News and over 115,000 accepted Christ as their personal Saviour! This is the fruit that your support produced for God’s Kingdom!

Wow! Where has the last year gone? Almost Christmas 2023! It’s been hard to comprehend that Christmas is now less than 2 weeks away, especially for us here in Saskatchewan with little to NO SNOW! A rare and amazing event indeed. But an even more amazing event we are about to celebrate – the birth of our Lord Jesus!

Hope this finds you enjoying some wonderful summer sunshine and making memories with your family and friends! It is hard to believe that it is almost the end of July – time is going by so quickly. It has been over 7 months now since Clair has gone to Glory, but his memory and the work he started, still carries on, in the hearts and lives of so many people, both here at home and in Africa.
